This week, I cut all the pieces and put the entire shelf together, which allowed me to finally make/crimp some wires that were the right length for the components. I had initially made the mockup using thicker cardboard to better represent the real material I would use when cutting it on the CNC Router.
My aim for this week has been achieved, and seeing it in action confirms that the effort I put into using Cad/ Fusion 360 was worthwhile. All of the components fit together without any issues at all, but if I need to make any changes, I have some parameters set up to make that simple.
Additionally, I am currently coding to add as many color variations as I can think of, such as 25 or more.
I'll try to begin cutting the shelf next week, so the wood must be here by Monday; else, I'll start cutting before Christmas break.
This is the bottom of the shelf, and yes, I am aware that it is a mess. However, after the wood shelf is officially cut, I will wire manage it and transform it into something ten times better.
